Throughout the course videos if you pay attention to my address bar you’ll notice that my domain isn’t always fictional-university.local
and instead is sometimes fictional-university.dev
. This is because in the past the LocalByFlywheel app created domains that ended in .dev
instead of .local
. I didn’t think it made sense to re-film 27 hours of video lessons to change what you see in my address bar. Just know that the exact domain you see in my address bar is not important; what’s important is what comes after the base part of the domain, so in this case the /wp-admin
. Your domain might be different, instead of fictional-university it might be pet-adoption-center.local, but the segment of the URL that comes after the slash is what’s important.
